Fairest Finches,
I
Whispers throughout the city speak of a splendid establishment, The Finch, dedicated to the art of nesting beautifully. This haven of elegance is rumored to have a collection so dazzling that it will captivate even the most discerning eye. It seems one of their own, Mother Nester, has embarked on a most curious expedition across the channel to the very heart of Parisian design. Will the woman return with the finest silver, crystal, or china? Let it be known that if there is a new product, Mother Nester shall find it. Rest assured, Fairest Finches, every detail will be provided.

It seems the season of matrimony is upon us once again, and with it, a peculiar modern tradition has taken hold of our esteemed young ladies: The art of the registry. Those who wish to offer their congratulations may wish to procure a piece from the most exquisite of selections.

This author has been reliably informed that early fall will host a distinguished guest at The Finch. Prepare your finest ornaments as whispers suggest a royal arrival is imminent. One can only imagine the excitement it will bring.

Alas, a scandal. My Dear Reader,
It seems that even the most glamorous dinners on the Seine can’t escape a little chaos — and how lucky for us that Mother Nester was there to see it all.
While guests were sipping champagne and pretending to be on their best behavior, a certain gentleman decided his pea deserved its own moment of fame. With an impressive flick, that poor little green thing soared across the room and — you won’t believe this — smacked the waiter right on the head.
But, as if that wasn’t enough to have the whole table clutching their pearls, the man then calmly picked the pea up with his fork and carried on eating like nothing happened.
What do we call that? Confidence? Cluelessness? A new trend in fine dining? Time will tell. But one thing is certain: even the tiniest pea can cause quite a scene.
Until next time, darlings…
